"Adventure is worthwhile in itself" - Amelia Earhart
In 2021, a groundbreaking Girl’s Scout troop was established, offering young women the opportunity to experience the adventure, leadership, and skill-building traditionally associated with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). This troop provided girls with access to the same merit badge programs, outdoor activities, and community service projects as their male counterparts. The troop’s formation marked a significant step toward inclusivity in Scouting, allowing girls to work toward the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. Through camping trips, leadership training, and service initiatives, the girls in the troop have embraced the values of the Scout Oath and Law, demonstrating courage, resilience, and dedication to making a positive impact on their community.
